As part of the Global Wind Day, the Wind Day 2010 was organized by NWEA (Wind Energy Association of The Netherlands) and ACRRES (University of Wageningen and ENECO). To illustrate future wind power concepts, a demonstration of the kite power system was scheduled for visitors. The 20 kW system was operated amidst rows of conventional wind turbines.
