In the technology section, three topics are elaborated. First, the core concept of the Laddermill system of ASSET Kite group is explained. These are the basics and fundamentals of the system that is developed at the Delft University of Technology (DUT). Next, the system breakdown is given. In this section, the different components and the functions of the system are described.

In the last section the context of the research is discussed. Here the positioning of Kite Power technology is reviewed with respect to other wind power applications.
